In with the new year comes the time to double-check that your business is compliant with Seattle's labor laws, including workplace posters, minimum wage, sick leave, and more. Next Thursday, March 7 from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m., GSBA is offering free Business Empowerment Workshop to help small businesses understand and implement Seattle's current labor ordinances.

GSBA Business Training Specialist & Grant Manager Eli Coffin will lead this training and cover topics such as wage theft, employee info sheets, paid sick and safe time, and the Fair Chance Employment ordinance. A thorough understanding of labor ordinances will help employers avoid unnecessary fines and better their workplace for all employees.
