GSBA is thrilled to partner with Digital Promise and Facebook to offer this two-day Social Media Marketing Workshop series. This workshop is free for everyone and open to the public. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, a young or seasoned professional, or a college student, or if you’re just curious about digital marketing, come join us!

Participants will learn the basics of social media marketing using Facebook and Instagram and have the opportunity to earn four micro-credentials (digital badges) that demonstrate the skills they have learned. Workshops are designed to be short, hands-on, and practical. Attendees who plan on taking this workshop should expect to attend both sessions with the goal of obtaining the micro-credentials.

Over two days, attendees will develop a Facebook page and Instagram account for a local community organization or business of their choice (it can be your personal organization/business); use that page to create awareness, drive traffic, and/or attract customers; and create ad campaigns in support of that page or account.

The workshop is organized into four modules that take participants through the skills they will need to do basic social media marketing for an organization or business. After each module, participants can earn a micro-credential. Those four modules are:

● Social Media Marketing Basics (Day 1) - REGISTER FOR DAY 1

● Marketing with Facebook Pages (Day 1)

● Marketing with Facebook Ads (Day 2)

● Marketing with Instagram (Day 2)

Please note that attendees should prepare to attend both sessions.
