This July, we'll be rooftop chilling for our summer edition of Young Professionals with Pride at The Nature Conservancy in Belltown. Take in the view of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains from The Nature Conservancy's beautiful rooftop deck, enjoy libations from our annual YPP Sponsors DIAGEO and Montucky Cold Snacks, and vibe along with jams from DJ MIXX America, all while connecting with fellow LGBTQ+ and allied young professionals.
OUR FEATURED NONPROFITS
Somos Seattle is an organization for LGBTQ Latinx folks, working to bring people together to build an active community, share resources, and foster spaces for learning and growth.
One of the largest and most active scholarship funds for LGBTQ students in the country, the GSBA Scholarship Fund was founded in 1991 and has since invested $3.4 million in LGBTQ+ students who exemplify leadership potential, strong academic ability, and community involvement and dedication. The scholarship program works to empower students with marginalized intersectional identities within the LGBTQ+ community and provides not only financial support for LGBTQ+ students, but a network of support, skills-based workshops, and a yearly three-day leadership immersion camp. In 2019, $500,000 was invested in 50 LGBTQ+ and allied students, 46% of whom identify as trans and/or gender diverse, and 72% who identify as students of color.
