WHO WE ARE
Young Professionals with Pride (YPP) is an initiative of GSBA. YPP is dedicated to providing Seattle's LGBT and allied young professionals unique and valuable opportunities to enhance their personal and professional development through social, educational and philanthropic activities.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
YPP programs and events are geared towards young professionals aged 21-39. Whether you have recently graduated, or started a new business, or are looking for a new job or career advancement, we invite you to become part of our network.
YPP networking mixers are a great way to meet and build authentic relationships with other young professionals in a relaxed atmosphere. All mixers are from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
Visit the EVENTS CALENDAR for upcoming YPP dates and venues.
THE YPP ADVISORY COUNCIL
The Young Professionals with Pride Advisory Council (YPPAC) works closely with GSBA staff and Board to ensure that YPP is meeting the needs and interests of young professionals in the greater Seattle area. This advisory committee is responsible for overseeing the programming and direction of YPP. They also help to identify program content, speakers and community partnerships for YPP and promote these events to the broader community. To learn more about getting involved, please contact us.
YOUNG PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
Young professionals join GSBA for many reasons, including to build a more diverse social and professional network, to support GSBA’s advocacy efforts, to grow as the next generation of leaders, and to get more involved in the community. With over 1,100 members, GSBA remains the largest LGBT chamber of commerce in the United States. Together we are able to offer your business the tools, connections and visibility you need to grow and become even stronger. You do not have to be a member of GSBA to participate in YPP events but we hope you will consider joining us
