THE SEVERITY OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IMPACTING THE WORKPLACE DEMANDS THE ATTENTION OF EMPLOYERS, MANAGERS AND HUMAN RESOURCES

According to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, on average, 24 people per minute are victims of rape, physical violence, or stalking by an intimate partner in the United States — more than 12 million women and men over the course of a year.

We invite you to join GSBA’s Business Empowerment Program series featuring Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County and All Things HR, LLC for this FREE informative seminar about domestic violence for you and your employees.

Employers should consider creating a plan to address domestic violence as a part of their workplace violence prevention program.

Come and learn the basics about domestic violence, what local resources are available, how to handle and support an individual affected by domestic violence, and get an update of the latest employment laws surrounding time off and leave.

Light snacks will be provided for all attendees.
