WHO WE ARE
Young Professionals with Pride (YPP) is a community networking group for LGBTQ and allied young professionals. We create an intentional space for young folks of all identities, from all industries, to connect, network, learn, and grow as professionals and people. We are a program of GSBA, Washington's LGBTQ and allied chamber of commerce, and North America's largest LGBTQ and allied chamber of commerce.
YPP events are an excellent way to meet civic and community leaders, build relationships with other LGBTQ and allied professionals, and take advantage of opportunities to increase personal and professional networks through social, educational, and philanthropic activities.
A priority of YPP is to be inclusive of everyone’s professional experiences and to build bridges between all identities of the LGBTQ and allied communities. ALL INDUSTRIES AND IDENTITIES ARE WELCOME!
Stay connected to YPP by joining our
Facebook Group.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
YPP programs and events are geared towards young LGBTQ and allied professionals aged 21-39. Whether you have recently graduated, or started a new business, or are looking for a new job or career advancement, we invite you to become part of our network.
MIXERS
YPP networking mixers are a great way to meet and build authentic relationships with other young professionals in a relaxed atmosphere. All mixers include light snacks, and even a drink or two! Every event has something exciting to offer, whether a surprise dessert sponsor or featured nonprofit(s) that open the doors to vast opportunities to give back to the community.
YOUNG PROFESSIONALS ADVISORY COUNCIL
Young Professionals Advisory Council (YPAC) is a collaboration of Young Professionals who meet monthly to ensure YPP thrives. This group stewards every Young Professionals with Pride event toward reaching a diverse and inclusive population. Growth opportunities abound. YPAC hopes to lead YPP into a proactively involved group by participating in a variety of partner walks and volunteering with our local nonprofits.
